Mass Flow Software Tools & Secondary Electronics

Brooks® provides a variety of software and accessory options to ensure mass flow controllers perform at their best. Calibration and control software, as well as certified calibration standards, allow customers to perform calibration checks to verify accuracy and repeatability.

  • Simple software programs give access to tuning, alarms and other basic functions

  • Tube and float can be re-ranged in line therefore minimizing process down time

Purgemeters

The Brooks® Model 1350 and 1355 Sho-Rate™ variable area meters deliver industry-leading performance for gas or liquid flows. Their robust, proven engineering ensures reliable indication and unsurpassed service life. Sho-Rate meters pioneered the concept of field-replaceable tube and float kits. If necessary, the tube and float can be replaced in-line in a matter of minutes. Brooks also offers low cost meters in glass, acrylic and polycarbonate tube configurations for less critical applications.

Specialized Flow Products

The Brooks® portfolio of products includes additional liquid metering and controlling devices. These products are appropriate for numerous specialized applications.

  • Flomega™ liquid flow meters and controllers use thermal mass flow technology to accurately measure and control liquids and are weatherproof and certified for use in hazardous areas

  • Oval Gear positive displacement meters are ideal for highly viscous liquids in applications where accuracy and repeatability are critical

  • Sight flow indicators provide quick visual process indication and are available in many materials compatible with a variety of fluid and process conditions


Calibration Products

Brooks® Vol-U-Meter® gas calibrators provide precise calibration of flow meters and controllers and are traceable to NIST or MNi. The Vol-U-Meter calibrators provide primary standard flow measurement calibrations.

The Model 1060 Series Vol-U-Meter facilitates automatic meter and controller calibration.

  • Extremely accurate collection of gas volume is achieved by monitoring the position of a piston moving in a precision glass tube

  • Photo-electric sensors provide position detection

  • Timed accumulation of gas in the tube permits accurate flow calculation

  • Gas temperature measurement permits calculation back to standard or normal flow conditions

  • Up to three Vol-U-Meter tubes can be connected to a single electronics module

  • PC interface is available for automatic calibration of flow devices

  • The Model 1050 Series Vol-U-Meter facilitates economical gas calibration of meters and controllers. It is simple to set up and use, while providing the same primary standard calibration dependability as the Model 1060.
