Precision Digital Panel & Process Meters

Precision Digital has been manufacturing a wide range of digital panel meters and digital field meters for all types of process measurement and control applications since 1974.

PD765 Trident Universal Meter (info)

The Trident is an all new Universal Panel Meter that handles all the common process display applications with simplicity, reliability, accuracy and ease. It is factory calibrated to accept process voltage and current inputs, 100 ohm platinum RTDs and the four most common thermocouples. Setup and programming is a jumper-free, single switch, snap using the simple four-button programming method or a computer. And if there are multiple meters to be programmed, the Trident's Copy capability allows one meter's setup to be automatically copied to another meter!

PD980 & PD981 ConsoliDator 8 (info)

Precision Digital's Model PD980 & PD981 ConsoliDator is an easy to use multiple-channel controller. It accepts 4-20 mA inputs, flow meter pulse inputs, and digital inputs. It is equipped with multiple relays, which have user-definable actions, 4-20 mA outputs, and MODBUS protocol serial communication capabilities.

  • Eight 4-20 mA inputs
  • Four pulse inputs
  • Four digital inputs
  • Nine 10 A relays
  • Two 4-20 mA outputs
  • Multiple screens show everything

PD690 Universal 1/8 DIN Panel Meters

Precision Digital's Model PD690 is a high performance, easy to use, industrial-grade microprocessor digital process meter. It accepts all the standard process signals: 4-20 mA, 1-5 V, 0-5 V and 0-10 V and displays these signals in engineering units on a 4-1/2 digit display. The display includes an extra zero which may be used to handle numbers up to 199,990.

Available in Strain Gauge/Load Cell (0-30 mV to 0-200 mV); Analog Input Flow Rate/Totalizer/Batch Controller; Pulse Input Flow Rate/Totalizer/Batch Controller; DC Voltage (0-200 V); AC Voltage (0-250 V True RMS) versions

PD750 Universal Temperature Meters

Precision Digital's Universal Temperature Meters handle temperature displaying, alarming and re-transmitting applications with simplicity, accuracy and reliability. The PD750 is available with up to 4 relays, isolated 4-20 mA output, and is factory programmed for easy field selection of the thermocouple or RTD type. Just select your input type (J,K,T,E,R,S thermocouple or 100 ohm RTD), and either Fahrenheit or Celsius and connect the sensor. The PD751 and PD752 have the same features as the PD750; the PD751 accepts 10 ohm copper RTD inputs and the PD752 accepts 120 ohm nickel RTD inputs.

PD650 Large Display Universal Process Meters

The PD650, PD655 and PD656 are Large Display Process Meters with flow rate, totalizer and batch control capabilities.  Each accepts the common process signals such as 4-20 mA, 0-5 VDC, 1-5 VDC and 0-10 VDC and displays these signals in engineering units on a large, high efficiency, 41Ú2 digit red LED display. All units also provide two isolated 24 V power supplies to drive both the input and output loops. Options include up to 4 relays for alarms or batch controlling, as well as an isolated 4-20 mA transmitter output.

PD750 Large Display Temperature Meters

The PD755 is a Large Display Temperature Meter housed in a rugged NEMA 4X enclosure that can also be used as a linearized temperature transmitter. The PD755 accepts the common thermocouples, J,K,T,E,R and S as well as 100 ohm platinum RTDs and displays them on a large 1" high 4 ½ digit LED display. Options for the PD755 include up to four relays for alarm and control and an isolated 4-20 mA transmitter output. An isolated 24 VDC power supply is available as a standard feature on AC powered units to power the transmitter output.

  • PD755     2.3" High Red LED Cast Aluminum NEMA 4X
  • PD756    1.0" High Red LED Polycarbonate NEMA 4X
  • PD766     0.8" High LED Explosion-Proof

PD660 Loop Powered Meters

Loop-powered meters are perfect for applications where a simple inexpensive display is required and no AC power is available. And even if the lighting is poor, the loop-powered backlighting option lets you see the display under any lighting condition. This option gets its power from the 4-20 mA input loop so there is no need for additional wiring and no batteries to ever change. The PD660 and PD661 are housed in rugged NEMA 4X and Explosion-proof enclosures so they can be mounted virtually anywhere. The PD661-N-EX and PD661-B-EX have been FM, CSA and CENELEC approved as explosion-proof as complete products- not just the enclosures.
